Ultra Flex

The ZOOZ Ultra Flex is the muscle car of ebikes. Not the plastic hybrid junk of today, but the Detroit Steel of days long past. An endless summer of Appetite for Destruction and Straight Outta Compton, Excitebike and Paperboy, Fast Times and Ferris Bueller. Suntans and permagrins, jumps and wheelies. Days spent on bike trails and boardwalks, riding around the neighborhood with friends until after the sun goes down. It's the vibe some remember and others have been looking for their entire lives.

Got my 1200 three days ago and I’ve rode it every day since. Love this bike. Rough roads or bumps? You don’t feel them. The UF1200 is a ripper! Can’t wait till they release extra batteries for these bikes so I can really go explore.

The size/geometry of the Flex is great for pedaling and more comfortable if you’re taller. The suspension is a game changer especially riding on crappy NYC streets. It definitely feels like a platform you can build and customize for an even more powerful ride.

When I was young, I threw my back out while sifting through Yeti coprolites for dried berries in the Himalayas. I could no longer ride my BMX because the bumps I felt on a hard tail reminded me of that fateful day when I slipped on a fresh Sasquatch turd, tumbled down the mountain, and landed face-first in a pit of Shilajit. I had to eat my way out, and crawl to the nearest village, where I was nursed back to health by a group of benevolent vegan monks. Fast forward 30 years, and I see a BMX bike with suspension, built by a motorcycle madman in Chicago. I had to try it... Lo and behold, the buttery-smooth ride does not cause me to recall that horrific incident in the mountains. And with a motor helping me pedal, I can continue to indulge my love for laziness. Thank you, Zooz.

I own four ebikes. The Zooz 1200 speaks to me like the others cannot. It rockets me into my youth, and transforms my spirit to my ten year old self in 1955. My other bikes? A recumbent with thousand watt middrive, a Biktrix full suspension mtn bike, and a troxus step thru for utility. All great bikes for their type of use. But, i would rather ride the Zooz 1200. It is simply more fun. Oh, it is fast, lotsa torque, nimble like my old 70 Norton Commando!!
Seriously, components, fit and finish are terrific. Highly recommend to all looking for a spiritual awakening.
